Root Canal Treatment

One of the most common dental procedures is a root canal. This simple treatment can save your natural teeth and
avoid the need for bridges or dental implants.

A collection of blood vessels known as ‘ pulp ‘ is at the center of your tooth, which helps build the surrounding tooth. Trauma to the tooth, decay, cracks, chips, or repeated dental work can cause pulp infection.

If you develop a visible injury, heat sensitivity, or tooth and gum pain, your dentist will most likely prescribe a root canal to
remove the diseased pulp and prevent further damage.

The injured pulp is removed and the tooth’s hollow root is cleaned and sealed thoroughly. Root canals are usually done
with local anaesthetic and can be completed in one or more visits depending on the treatment needed.

We at D32 The Dental Centre will help you decide how best to restore your tooth to protect it. Complications are
uncommon for root canal patients, but if a problem occurs, we are always available to respond. A good oral hygiene
routine, as always, will help to avoid problems

Our root canal treatment procedure is fast and accurate with modern equipment and technology and most patients
experience minimal discomfort. When required, we also use an Endodontic microscope that enables the Endodontist
to see deep inside the tooth to ensure accuracy and consistency with complicated root canals.
